The meeting point sits at the top of Table Mountain, the quickest way to get to the top would be to use the Table Mountain Cable Car.

By Public Transport

Free Shuttle Service

There is free parking available at Kloof Neck Parking, where you can take the free 110 MyCiTi shuttle service from the Lower Tafelberg Road stop, just off Kloof Nek Road, to the Upper Tafelberg Road stop at the Lower Cable station.

Buses

The Cape Town Integrated Rapid Transit system, MyCiTi, stops right outside the Lower Cable Station. The MyCiTi bus route that runs from the V&A Waterfront to Camps Bay stops at the top of Kloof Nek Road (route number 106 and 107, Waterfront Silo / Civic Centre / Camps Bay). Hop off there and take the free MyCiTi shuttle service (route 110) that runs from Kloof Nek Road, up Tafelberg Road and right to the Lower Cableway Station. You can also stop here if coming from Camps Bay. The free service runs from when we open until 7pm every day. You can view the timetable here.

The bus departs from the Civic Centre in Hertzog Boulevard. There are a number of MyCiTi bus stops in the city centre.  

Please note the MyCiTi service does not accept cash. Every passenger needs their own myconnect card pre-loaded with money. You can buy your myconnect card at any of these station kiosks and local stores. Children under four years old and less than one metre tall travel free.

Parking

Parking by the lower cable car is free,however given this is Cape Town's number one tourist destination, it can be difficult to find a parking space on busy days you can end up parking more than a 1km away.
